Besides various challenges concerning the economic, environmental and infrastructural development of the area there are many other urgent social needs to be addressed. Youth, children, women and other vulnerable groups within the society face serious social-economic problems and need special attention. Poor living conditions and the lack of skills and opportunities to improve the household income and to provide education for the children are some reasons amongst others for people to be caught in the poverty trap for generations.
We want
to provide counselling, social work services and rights awareness-training in order to strengthen disadvantaged groups within the communities and support them through specific project work in cooperation with different stakeholders and partners from Lushoto District.
